Austro Flamm

Whether your home is a town house or a wharfside loft, a city apartment or a barn conversion on the outside, inside you're creating the ultimate environment for modern living. With light, space and warmth.

Elegant, modern designs.

Designed and developed in Austria, with high elevations and stylish contours, each stove or fireplace has its own charm and character. There are also sizes and heat outputs to suit most British homes.

Panoramic views of the Fire

Large, clear, tempered glass windows are a feature of every model. They ensure you see the full beauty of the dancing flames and glowing embers.

Clean, efficient, controllable heat.

Advanced engineering and an airtight firebox provide fast, easy control of fuel combustion as well as exceptionally clean burning. In addition, selected models feature a external air facility for the draught-free provision of air for combustion and extra fuel economy. Every stove ad fireplace meets the highest international standards for clean emissions and carries the CE mark.

Multi-fuel Capacity.

Whether burning solid fuel or wood, each stove achieves optimum performance with superb flame and glow effects and up to 80% thermal efficiency. Wood is better in environmental terms as the amount of carbon dioxide released into the atmosphere is approximately the same as that absorbed by the tree during growth. It is also a renewable resource, particularly when derived from plantations and cultivated woodland. For optimum results, we recommend logs should be seasoned for 2 years or more to acheive a moisture content below 20%. This will not only give twice the output of freshly felled timber but help avoid a build up of tar in your flue. Futhermore, if you obtain hardwood logs this is better still, as they will have around twice the calorific value of softwoods.

Colours and finishes to match your decor.

Many Austroflamm products are available with interchangable ceramic or steel panels in a variety of colours and finishes allowing you to co-ordinate with paints, fabrics and furnishings. Most models have a standard version in either matt black or anthracite painted steel.

Heat Memory System

Unique to Austroflamm, and an option on several models, this patented system stores heat in a ceramic-based material located under the outer 'skin' of the stove. This heat is released up to 3 times longer after the fire has died down, thus requiring less fuel to be loaded and providing you with improved economy.

Nationwide Distribution

Austroflamm stoves and fireplaces are imported into the UK and Republic of Ireland by Stovax Ltd and sold via a network of highly experienced authorised retailers. Each retailer not only has a showroom display with burning examples, but is able to offer specialist advice and a full installation service.
