Every ESSE stove can trace its ancestry all the way back to 1854. Now as then they represent the very best in stove design and capability. The knowledge acquired over 150 years is used daily and it is our on going quest to develop new products and enhancements that continue to improve the enjoyment, reliability and efficiency that generations of ESSE people have experienced.

The art of casting iron is in our blood, some of our Victorian era stoves pushed the boundaries of pattern making and iron casting skills to the limit. Indeed the intricate design skills of those Victorian pattern makers can still be seen in our Dragon and Solo models. Of course the ESSE name is equally synonymous with range cookers and it is this that sets our stoves apart from the rest. A multi-fuel range cooker, like a stove relies on the accurate distribution and flow of air and hot gasses for optimum performance, our time served acquisition of the engineering skills needed to achieve this are second to none.

The result is a perfect balance of flame picture, control, clarity of door glass and fuel burning efficiency.
